In this talk I shall discuss some recent results for the forward and inverse problems for fractional differential equations. The basic concept of fractional calculus will be described. Error estimates for the semi-discrete Galerkin discretization of time fractional differential equations with nonsmooth data will be presented.
Also inverse Sturm-Liouville problem and parameter identification problem will be briefly discussed.
