Abstract:
Internet of Things is considered as one of the most important forms of future Internet. As the Internet affect more thoroughly and substantially the daily life, business and the whole society, service based on IoT is more and more important. The quality and the scale of the service is critical for users when more objects and devices are connected to Internet via barcode, RFIDs, sensors or more powerful devices. Public service platform is highly desired for both users to access product/service information and for business to access user/lifecycle information. A public service platform is introduced, which provide free service for various industries and applications, including furniture, home appliance, video monitoring, etc. It is highly recommended and encouraged for various organizations and users to use the platform.

Biography：
Sean Shen (沈烁), male, Ph.D, graduated from mathematics and electronics & computer engineering department, Purdue University in 2007. He worked for Huawei between 2007 and 2009 and focused on internet research and standardization, especially in applications and Internet security. Since he joined CNNIC (China Internet Network Information Center) in 2009, he has been served as director or CNNIC Labs and director of Advanced Research Department. He has been directing research and standardization work, including IoT, IP and DNS areas. Dr. Sean Shen has published various international and domestic standards, including RFC and WG drafts in IETF, industrial and national standard in China. He has been serving in various committee and organizations in both international and domestic areas, including IoT and internet security.
